The Natural Health Expo is $5 per family and free for local Homestead Members. Register online by selecting Homestead Member or Guest (non-member).
Please stop by the registration table when you arrive to check in with your name. If you haven’t pre-registered, pay $5/family cash at the event. Everyone is welcome to join!
WHAT ABOUT KIDS?
If your child has an interest in the topic, they are welcome to attend the presentation. Otherwise, pair up with a friend or family member to take turns watching the kiddos while you alternate listening to presenters. Pony rides will be offered by Sunshine Stables in front of the Homestead. There is a play structure and sand area next to the house, as well as a zip line below the garden. An adult will need to stay with the children. It’s always a good idea to have a change of clothes in the car when playing at the Homestead :)
WHAT TO BRING
*Cash, water, snacks, umbrella
The Homestead is a lovely place! If you're staying for the day, feel free to pack a lunch and have a picnic. Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated. Edible options for purchase onsite include smoothies and tacos. Cash may be convenient for vendors. If you are interested in the presentations held at the outdoor stage, bring a blanket or lawn chair for comfort on the grass.
WHAT IF IT RAINS?
The Natural Health Expo will be held rain or shine. If drizzly skies persist, presentations will take place inside the Homestead. Bring an umbrella as parking is along the street and there will be a walk from your car to the building. The Homestead does not currently have a wheelchair ramp. This is an upgrade that we are hoping to make in the near future.
ABOUT THE HOMESTEAD
Our organization defines Homesteading as the ability to improve your own health, home, and community through intentional living. We do this by connecting through community. None of us has every tool we need to claim healthy, happier lives, but we can all learn and share a piece of that puzzle we call "The Good Life."
