Homestead Day

Our organization defines Homesteading as the ability to improve your own health, home, and community through intentional living. None of us has every tool we need, but we can learn from one another and share a piece of that puzzle we call "The Good Life."

Join us for Homestead Day and find out which pieces appeal to you and your family. There will be sessions every hour on the topics of Animals & Gardening, Home & Sustainability, and Holistic Parenting Support.

Homestead Day is included with your Local Family Membership to the Homestead Education Center. Anyone is welcome to join.

All others are invited to attend for $5/person. Register here or bring cash to pay at the event. Check in at the registration table once you arrive.

The schedule for Homestead Day presentations will be posted closer to the event. You can also follow the event on Facebook for updates.

If your child has an interest in the topic, they are welcome to attend the presentation. Otherwise, pair up with a friend or family member to take turns watching the kiddos while you alternate listening to presenters. There is a play area in front of the Homestead, as well as a zip line and sand area. An adult will need to stay with the children.

The Homestead is a lovely place! If you're staying for the day, feel free to pack a lunch and setup a picnic complete with blankets and lawn chairs. Bring cash to buy goods from venders. There will be fresh tacos on hand.
