Do you have children who love the outdoors? Join us at the Homestead each Wednesday from 10AM - 12PM for some nature exploration! Our activities will be focused on nature, science, and seasonally inspired crafts.

The weekly Nature Kids Co-op is open to children of all ages. To attend, simply sign up for a Homestead local membership. $9.95/month covers the entire family for the weekly Nature Kids Co-op, all Homestead Education Center online resources, and Homestead monthly events. You can join at any time during the year.

Once you have signed up for a local membership, arrive to the Homestead at 10AM. We’ll have an organized activity for participating children at 10:15. Visit our Facebook page for an update on weekly themes. Younger children are welcome to free play with adult supervision around the property. Visit the goats, feed the chickens, zoom down the zipline and have fun in the sandbox. We’ll explore until noon.

For questions, please call or text Andrea at 360-450-7922. If you would like to receive text message notifications for the Nature Kids Co-op, you can sign up at
